Plastic wrap

Extruder In order to ensure the best quality of our products we produce polyethylene wraps ourselves by means of special equipment - extruder. Thanks to it we are able to guarantee technical parameters fulfilling follow-up production operations as well as customers’ requirements.

The wrap is standardly available in following colours:

Transparent, white, yellow, light blue, dark blue, violet, green, red, brown, black, beige, silver. Width of wrap is limited by technical parameters determined by a machine and ranges from 500 to 1,230 mm. Thickness of wrap is from 0.035 to 0.200 mm.

Wrap is adjusted for further possible print (screen print, flexo-print, etc.)

Printing

Tiskárna We use two flexo-presses: a four-colour printing machine LemoFlex with classic layout of ink units and an eight-colour printing machine Fischer & Krecke with a central cylinder and planet layout of gearless ink units.

Thanks to advanced technical parameters of Fischer & Krecke we are able to achieve a very high level of register accuracy and fidelity of colours and colour transitions.

Very high quality is also ensured by photo-polymeric flexo plates, which are exclusively produced by a digital CTP technology.

This technology ensures a long life of a print mould without a loss of a quality level – up to 1,000,000 prints.

Colour scheme

Standard CMYK + spot colours according to Pantone swatch. For a transparent wrap one of the colours must be white – under the print. For keeping an exact colour tint it has to be taken into account that the same colour printed on different materials results in colour scheme changes. Pantone swatch is printed with offset colours on paper and therefore printing with flexo-print colours on wrap will result in certain changes.

Colour register

At motifs where more colours are used and where colours converge there is an unavoidable overlap of colours. Due to flexibility of used material this overlap has to be at least 0.1 – 0.5 mm depending on a motif. Generally, accuracy of the colour register on plastic wrap is incomparable with offset print on paper.

Order Rules

Take size and position of a print into account. It is necessary to provide us with a dimensioned model of an ordered product with clearly marked distance of a design from the bottom edge as well as width and height of the print. Provide us with information about desired colour scheme. Some areas of some products cannot be printed on, e.g. handle area or reinforced finger area of bags). Some motifs involve locating of setting marks necessary for welding machines operating. Almost all motifs involve micro spots needed for achieving an accurate colour register

Graphical data

We accept data in all graphic formats both on PC and MAC. The ideal way is by means of standard Adobe company graphic software. In case the data include fonts, it is advisable to convert them to curves or embed them to graphic files. Data can be sent via e-mail or in case of bigger files on CD.

Welding

Svářečka Welding machines Stiegler make final products modifications. We have 5 different machines that enable a wide range of final alternations without time-consuming setting of.

For accurate pacing determined by product’s size it is necessary for some motifs to put there a pacing sensor marks. Although the marks are located on a weld, they remain partly visible even after welding and can make a bad impression (especially when more bags are piled up – the mark is almost unnoticeable on one single bag).

At bags printed on both sides there is a necessary tolerance of +- 4 mm for locating the print in case it is mirrored. This effect is most apparent at transparent materials and cannot be fully avoided.

Re-winding, slitting

Řezačka With an increase of demand for printed plastic wrap and in order to fulfil requirements for complex deliveries we have bought a re-winding and slitting machine from Soma Lanškroun Company.

The machine enables us to re-wind and cut material into smaller parts, as our customers require it.

Thanks to a computer sensor-controlled compensator we are able to achieve a very accurate and even cut. Therefore rolls can be used in packaging machines requiring perfect accuracy.
